Synopsis
Mickey, a young musician paralyzed in his arms and legs, spends a weekend with Oliver, a captivating Filipino substitute caregiver, whose presence disrupts his carefully controlled world and awakens long-suppressed desires.
Director's Statement
The film is a personal and intimate portrait exploring characters, stories, and experiences at the intersections of disability, sexuality, and sexual identity—subjects that are too often absent from mainstream discourse. It explores the tension between a body shaped by disability and the longing for intimacy, touch, and sexual connection. Beyond exploring these themes, the film celebrates pivotal moments of self-discovery, breaking through self-imposed boundaries, stepping beyond one’s comfort zone, and embracing a whole, complex, and unique identity.
